In the News: Emory and the Humanities Pathways
Events
Humanities at Work - January 20 and 27, 2023
The Humanities at Work event is designed to highlight and share with the Emory community and beyond our grant’s achievements and the future direction of our initiatives after the grant concludes in August 2023.
Humanities at Work will take place on both the Atlanta and Oxford campuses on January 20 and 27, 2023, respectively. Events will bring to life how the Pathways grant has impacted each of the four core constituencies: faculty, students, alumni, and parents.
Faculty
The Humanities Pathways grant is faculty-driven, and the faculty’s enthusiasm and active participation in the workshops and seminars are at the core of the grant’s success.
Students
Our goal is to connect students directly with opportunities to help them prepare and think broadly about their options after graduation. A focus on the successes and creativity of humanities students is an essential element of celebrating the value and vibrancy of the humanities.
Alumni
The experiences and accomplishments of Emory alumni are invaluable in helping our current students forge their paths to fulfilling futures. These events are designed to acknowledge alumni contributions and allow students to benefit even more from personal interactions.
Parents
We recognize the importance of parental influence on our students and want to acknowledge and address their concerns regarding career options and viability after graduation.
